Tony Villani
Founder/ President XPE Sports-Atlanta
Tony started his education at Clemson University in South Carolina and attended graduate school at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. It was there that he received a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and graduated in the top of his class. His thesis was published by The European Journal of Applied Physiology and dealt with the benefits of exhaustive interval training. During this time, he interned with NHL's Washington Capitals and was set to help the Washington Wizards prior the NBA lockout. From Washington, D.C. Tony moved to Orlando, Florida and quickly obtained a job helping the Head Strength Coach of the Orlando Magic for a basketball season. From there, his experience led him to Boca Raton, Florida where he become the Director of Human Performance at Cris Carter's FAST Program. While at FAST he focused on sport specific speed, agility, and strength training. During the spring of 2002,
Tony utilized his experiences and created XPE Sports.
Tony has helped grow the XPE professional client list
from a mere four athletes to over 120. More importantly
he has trained thousands of high school/college athletes
and fitness enthusiasts with the same techniques
the professionals trust. He has also developed and conducted sports camps for such NFL stars as Jamal Lewis, Hines Ward, Wayne Gandy, Deshae Townsend, and Jason Allen. Numerous other athletes have appeared at various XPE camps held each year. Camps have been completed in Atlanta, Orlando, Myrtle Beach (SC), South Florida, Northern California, Mississippi, and Alabama. In total, over 8000 young scholastic athletes have had a chance to train with their professional role models. These camps serve as a way to influence athletes in a positive manner on and off the field.
Tony's professional references before creating XPE included such athletes as: NFL Super Bowl Champion/ All-Pro/ Pro Bowl Jermaine Lewis, 2XWorld Series Champion/ Playoff MVP Craig Counsell, World Series MVP/ 2XAll-Star/ MLB manager Bucky Dent, and tennis superstar Ivan Lendl. Now, Tony has made XPE's references both numerous and unmatched. He has trained well over 200 professional athletes in sports including but not limited to: football, baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball and fitness. He has been featured on ABC, ESPN, NFL Films, SKY Network (European Fox), Raycom Sports, CBS-Atlanta, and WPDE-Myrtle Beach and in USA Today, NFL Insider, USA Today Sports, The Sporting News, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Palm Beach Post, The Boca News, The Sun News, SCORE Atlanta, Atlanta Sports and Fitness, and the Princeton Review. His ability to train athletes to reach their fullest potential is unparalleled.
TJ Jackson President, XPE Sports-South Florida
Tavarius Jackson, known by his friends as TJ, started his life in Delray Beach, FL. Here he developed his love for sports. He attended Olympic Heights High School, located in Boca Raton, FL and excelled in the sports arena as an outstanding student and athlete.
TJ is a Certified Sports and Personal Trainer.
He was the Palm Beach County Player of Year as quarterback at Olympic Heights and was also a 2 year starter at outside linebacker for Virginia Tech University. There he was also the Player of the Game on nationally televised games against Boston College and University of West Virginia. At his NFL workout, he was 218 pounds and ran a 4.42 40 yard dash, jumped a 39 inch vertical, and benched 225 pounds 18 times.
While playing football, he learned that sport activities motivated him and he decided to dedicate his career to fitness and sports. After spending 8 years of his life with Tony Villani, founder of XPE Sports (Atlanta, GA), TJ acquired
the experience and determination to bring this XPE training approach to the athletes of South Florida. The XPE experience improves all aspects of athletes - from speed, agility, power and explosion to learning to motivate and help
others on and off the field.
For the past 3 years, TJ has provided a week long camp to children in South Florida, where they
learn varioius athletic skills along with life skills. At the end of these camps, the athletes are given
the opportunity to workout with various NFL Football players, like Jamal Lewis and Wayne Gandy.
Joe Don Reames
Sport TrainerJoe Don attended Seneca High School in South Carolina where he excelled in athletics as a quarterback, pitcher and a sprinter. He was one of five finalists in the state for the Mr. Football Award and also won the Greenville News' Player of the Year award for baseball. Joe Don graduated from Clemson University where he played both football and baseball for the Tigers. Recruited as a quarterback but moved to wide receiver, Joe Don led the team in punt returns as a freshmen. During his years at Clemson, he was a nationally ranked punt returner and earned ACC Specialist of the Week honors for a 69 yard punt return that he ran in for a touchdown (see video to right). Following his 2002 graduation from Clemson, he played minor league baseball in the Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Devil Rays organizations. His older brothers, Britt and Jay, both played professional baseball as well. Joe Don uses his athletic experience and education to help athlete's reach their full potential by increasing their speed, power, agility, movement and balance.
Robert Cromartie
Sport Trainer

Robert Cromartie attended Douglass HS in Atlanta, Georgia and was the #1 rated cornerback coming out of high school. He attended the University of Florida where he became a 4 year starter at the cornerback position. In total, he compiled 204 tackles with 29 passes defended while making 35 starts. He trained with XPE for the NFL Combine and posted a 4.4 40 yard dash, a 38 inch vertical, and a 3.9 shuttle. This led him to gaining NFL experience with the Arizona Cardinals and St. Loius Rams. He is a valuable asset to XPE and he can provide insight into the various tools needed for athletic success. Robert consistently passes on his knowledge to XPE athletes in areas ranging from football specific drills, the college recruiting process and how to adjust to NFL camps.

Eric Williams
Boxing Trainer
Eric started his Boxing career in 1972 in Detroit, MI at the world famous Kronk Boxing Gym under the watchful eye of world class trainer, Emmanuel Stewart. His amateur record was 110 wins and 10 losses, and Eric was a 3 time National amateur champion. He relocated to Atlanta in 1989 and began training professional boxers in 1996. With more than 35 years of experience, Eric has worked with the likes of former World Champion, Vernon Forest and former world title contenders Chris "Showtime" Johnson, Robert Allen and Corine "Goose" VanRyktergroot. Eric is currently working with both amateur and professional prospects in hopes of bringing another championship to Atlanta.
Lillian Abdelmalek Sports Performance Coach

Lillian earned her Bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a specialization in fitness and wellness from the University of Florida. She was an intern with Velocity Sports Performance before coming to work for XPE Sports. Lillian is an experienced track athlete in the 4x200m and the 300m low hurdles. Anyone professional athlete at XPE quickly respects her for her ability to handle any workout that the pros can do. Her athletic background enables her to uniquely connect with younger athletes and guide them to reach their goals.
Robbie Ramsdell
Director of Sales

Robbie graduated for North Georgia College and State University earning a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, with emphasis in Wellness and Fitness. He is also and Certified USA Weightlifting Club Coach. Robbie served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Westminster Schools of Atlanta. While at Westminster, he worked with 23 different male and female team sports in areas of strength, conditioning, speed and agility. After leaving Westminster, he was a Sports Performance Director for Velocity Sports Performance of Roswell and Cumming. Robbie has worked with numerous former and current athletes from the NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL.
Mindy Heaton
Business Director
Mindy earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University. She also received her Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Program from Oakton Community College. Mindy swam from the age of 7 thru college, her specialties were the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 yard freestyle events. Prior to joining XPE Sports, she coached swimming for 8 years in the Chicago suburbs and for SwimAtlanta Roswell. Mindy has worked with many Junior National, Senior National and Olympic Trial swimmers.
